Registration:

Pre-registration: By submitting the registration form online on the www.maratonclubmiskolc.hu website.
Pre-registrations are accepted until August 24, 2025, 24:00 (midnight).
The pre-registration fee is payable by bank transfer to the account of Miskolc Egészséges Ifjúságáért Alapítvány simultaneously with the pre-registration (within a maximum of 5 working days).

Electronic registration alone does not qualify as pre-registration! Registrations without payment of the entry fee will be deleted after 5 working days!

Cancellation of registration: We do not intend to refund the registration fee. However, a cancellation of registration indicated before the race can be transferred to another one of our races for a registration fee of 1000 HUF, provided it is communicated to us at least 1 week before the race. Information about our races can be found on the www.maratonclubmiskolc.hu website.

Modification of registration: We provide the opportunity to change the race distance up to one week before the race, by replying to the registration confirmation email.
On the day of the race, for pre-registered participants, changing the race distance will be possible by paying 1,000 HUF/person in cash.

On-site registration, bib number pick-up: At the race center in Aggtelek, next to the Baradla restaurant. (48.471151, 20.495132)

September 6, 2025 (Saturday) from 03:30 PM to 04:30 PM: next to the Vörös-tó large parking lot (between Aggtelek and Jósvafő), for participants of the 6 km distance.

RACE SHIRT:

The unique branded race shirt can be ordered in parallel with pre-registration – until August 24, 2025, 24:00 (midnight), on the www.maratonclubmiskolc.hu website simultaneously with registration.

The price of the shirt: 5000 Ft
Shirt order is an optional extra when submitting the registration.

Determination of Places:

By electronic timing, taking into account net/gross time.

Refreshments:

Depending on terrain conditions, every 4-6 km. Supplies: water, isotonic sports drink, sweets, fruit.

Recommended Equipment:

Competitors should ensure that their bib number is placed so they can be identified in the finish line photo.

Therefore, please place the bib number on the chest or waist (front) and do not cover it with other clothing or equipment.

The entire length of the cave will be illuminated, but to avoid potential technical problems and injuries, and for better visibility of the passages, it is recommended that all competitors use a headlamp during this section of the race.

On the cave section, ANPI tour guides supervise the race. It is FORBIDDEN to deviate from the marked course, damage stalactites, or litter!

Attention! There can be a temperature difference of up to 20 degrees Celsius between the cave and the surface section!

The ground in the cave is slippery, so caution must be exercised on this section. For footwear, it is advisable to choose shoes with the least slippery, softer rubber soles, or those with a non-slip sole pattern. Appropriate shoe choice will also be crucial on the surface, as in rainy weather, slippery, steep hillsides will await competitors on the forest section.

IMPORTANT!

• Leaving the marked course on the surface – for the purpose of shortening – will result in immediate disqualification from the race!
• Every runner participates in the race at their own risk. By filling out and submitting the registration form, they acknowledge that they accept the conditions set forth in the race regulations and declare that they are prepared to complete the chosen distance.
• Any competitor who folds, covers, or does not wear their bib number pinned to their chest during the race, or who does not complete the entire course – as set by the organizers – or who fills out the registration form inaccurately, with false data, or incompletely, or who does not use the chip properly, will be disqualified!
• It is FORBIDDEN to cycle, run without a bib number, with a dog, with a stroller, or with any other rolling device (e.g., rollerblades, scooter) in the race!
• Any commercial and advertising activity at the event venue may only be carried out with the prior permission of the Organizers, in an agreed form and manner.

   

Force Majeure:

The participant acknowledges that if the race cannot be held due to an unavoidable external cause (force majeure), including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disaster, strike, blockade, lack of route permit, or other unforeseen, extreme, unpredictable, and unavoidable reason, the Organizer will designate a new (replacement) date (about which official information will be provided) and will not refund the registration fee.

The race organizer reserves the right to change the location, date, and course of the program.

In case of race cancellation:

The Participant acknowledges that if the race cannot be held even on the newly designated replacement date, the Organizer will announce the cancellation of the race, cancel the invoice issued for the registration fee, and refund the registration fee as follows:

I.) 78% of the registration fee within 5 days after the cancellation invoice is issued

II.) the remaining 22% within 120 days after the cancellation invoice is issued

If the Organizer is delayed beyond the above deadline, it is obliged to pay default interest according to Act V of 2013 (Civil Code).

In case of stormy weather, the organizer may temporarily or permanently suspend the race at any time and then restart it. The organizer will inform competitors during the race via social media or on the www.maratonclubmiskolc.hu website.

The organizers reserve the right to make changes!
